The Office of the General Inspector (OGI), in collaboration with the USAID Economic Governance Program in Kosovo, organized a roundtable discussion with representatives from the private sector regarding inspection reform.
During this roundtable, the inspection reform was presented, including the principles, duties, and basic responsibilities of businesses and inspectors, respectively, according to the Inspection Law.
The inspection reform is part of the priorities of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, aiming for continuous improvement in the business environment.
Representatives from the private sector welcomed the changes brought about by this reform and simultaneously shared their recommendations for its further improvement, based on their experiences.
Lyra Osmani, Deputy General Inspector, emphasized the necessity of cooperation between the public and private sectors for the successful implementation of inspection reform and highlighted the mutual interest of this reform for both the public and private sectors.
We thank USAID Kosovo as one of the strategic partners for their continuous support in inspection reform.
