We finished the study visit in Naples, Italy
In the framework of the comprehensive reform of the inspection system in the Republic of Kosovo, the Office of the Inspector General has organized a study visit with the participation of the chief inspectors and inspectors of all Central Inspectorates, as well as representatives of the Prime Minister’s Office and cabinets from the line Ministries.
During this visit, we were able to closely see the application of the risk-based methodology, the digitalization of the inspection process, by carrying out concrete field inspections with a focus on the protection of public health, the environment and food safety.
At the same time, separate meetings were held to ensure cooperation and exchange of experiences for the future.
We thank the host party in Italy from the Office of Veterinary Safety and Public Health, the Regional Agency for Environmental Protection (ARPAC) and the Experimental Zooprophylactic Institute of Southern Italy for all the useful information they shared with us and providing opportunities for collaboration.
