This inspectorate functions within the Ministry of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure, and is responsible for: Inspections of the environment, water, nature; spatial planning and construction. The duties of the Inspectorate are inspection supervision and control, supervision for the implementation of the law and other legal acts, the implementation of administrative measures and other measures against working activities, physical and legal persons at the local and central level in order to prevent, reduce and eliminate irregularities in law enforcement. This inspectorate’s mission is to protect and improve the environment as a valuable asset for the people of Kosovo.
