This inspectorate functions within the Ministry for Agriculture, Food Safety, Veterinary and Forestry and its responsible for: Food safety inspections; Phytosanitary inspections; Veterinary inspections; Agriculture inspections; Fisheries inspections; Livestock inspections; Beekeeping inspections; Hunting inspection; Forestry inspection.

The Central Market Surveillance Inspectorate

This inspectorate functions within the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship, and Trade, and its responsible for: Market surveillance inspections in accordance with the legislation in force for market surveillance; Inspections in the field of metrology according to the applicable Law on Metrology.

Central Inspectorate for Health Inspections

This inspectorate functions within the Ministry of Health and its responsible for: Inspections of health institutions and professionals; Inspection of manufacturers, importers, wholesalers and retailers of medicinal products, medical devices and pharmacy professionals; Sanitary inspections for public health protection purposes; Inspections of vitamin, dietary, and cosmetics preparations with therapeutic effects.

Central Inspectorate of education

This inspectorate functions within the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, and it is responsible for: Inspection of education institutions and professionals; Inspections related to the accreditation of higher education institutions.

Central Inspectorate of Environment, Waters, Nature, Spatial Planning and Construction

This inspectorate functions within the Ministry of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure, and it is responsible for: Environment inspection; Waters inspection; Nature inspection; Spatial planning inspection; Inspection of constructions.

Central Inspectorate of Transport

This inspectorate functions within the Ministry of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure, and it is responsible for: Road transport inspection; Inspection of bus stations and terminals of goods; Inspection of roads` infrastructure and road safety; Inspection of technical controls of vehicles and driving-schools.

Central Labor Inspectorate 

This inspectorate functions within the Ministry of Finance, Labor and Transfers, and it is responsible for labor inspection.

Central Inspectorate for Cultural Heritage 

This inspectorate functions within the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, and it is responsible for the cultural heritage inspections.
