This inspectorate operates within the Ministry of Health and is responsible for: Inspections of institutions and health professionals, manufacturers, wholesale and retail importers of medical products, medical devices and pharmaceutical, sanitary professionals that aim to protect public health, preparations vitamin, dietary and cosmetic with therapeutic action. The health inspectorate exercises external professional supervision in public and private health institutions, exercises external supervision of the professional activity of health institutions without taking into account the forms of their financing and ownership. The Health Inspectorate aims to increase the quality of health services and care for residents in health institutions.
