The European Commission’s 2025 report for Kosovo recognizes several developments directly linked to inspection systems and oversight, many of which reflect the continued work and coordination efforts led by OIG:
- The launch of electronic case management in the Labour Inspectorate;
- Over 4,700 market surveillance inspections conducted, with concrete enforcement outcomes;
- Acknowledgment of the need to increase inspection capacity at central level, a key priority OIG has consistently raised;
- Continued emphasis on risk-based inspections, inter-institutional coordination, and alignment with EU standards.
These are encouraging signals that our collective efforts across OIG and the inspectorates are creating impact.
