The Office of the Inspector General, in cooperation with the Academy of Justice and GIZ, organized a roundtable discussion titled: “Issues Related to the Lack of Mechanisms for the Implementation of Legal Provisions on Confiscation in Relation to Inspectorate Laws in the Republic of Kosovo.”
The purpose of this roundtable was to advance knowledge on issues concerning the lack of mechanisms for implementing legal provisions on confiscation in relation to inspectorate laws in the Republic of Kosovo, as well as to identify challenges in the implementation of these mechanisms.
The interactive discussions highlighted:
✔️ the lack of effective implementation mechanisms
✔️ the need for better institutional coordination
✔️ the importance of unified practices in the field
The Office of the Inspector General remains committed to strengthening institutional capacities, increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of inspectorates, and advancing mechanisms that ensure full and sustainable implementation of legislation in the Republic of Kosovo.
